Healing Care Group.
Next group begins August 2023.
Wednesday nights on Zoom.
Every Wednesday at 6:45 we meet on Zoom to study the Scriptures.
Our worship can be described as the convergence of three streams:
We are Evangelical in that we believe the Scriptures are God's inspired Word. They are trustworthy and relevant to our lives today. They reveal Jesus, who is central to who we are and everything we do.
We are Liturgical in that we worship using liturgy that has been around since the early church. The liturgy serves as riverbanks that take us into God's presence. Our worship culminates with the sacrament of Holy Communion.
We are Spirit-filled in that we believe the Holy Spirit has been given to us to empower, teach, and lead us in the Christian life. We believe He is still active today, and we endeavor to be open to His work in our midst.
Beliefs are important for they affect everything about a person or a group of people. These days the word "Christian" can be interpreted in a wide variety of ways.
Here are two links that help spell out what we believe as Christians who worship in the Anglican expression:
The Statement of Belief from Healing Care Ministries tells you much about our fundamental beliefs as Christians.
The Theological Statement of the ACNA will help you understand more about the Anglican expression of Christianity.
